What We Stand For
UDF operates with a clear mandate, rooted in community uplift, mutual aid, and sustainable development for the people of Igbotako.
Encourage members of Ugbotako Diaspora Family, either as individuals or groups, to contribute to the development of infrastructure in Igbotako.
Encourage mutual support and assistance among members of the diaspora community across all countries of residence.
Promote humanitarian services in our community, ensuring the welfare and dignity of all indigenes of Igbotako.
Promote peace and unity in our community, bridging divides and fostering a spirit of collective belonging.
Support initiatives of other stakeholders, provided those initiatives produce outcomes that lead to the realisation of our shared vision for Igbotako.
A Ten-Year Roadmap
Ugbotako Diaspora Family appointed an ad hoc committee to consult with community elders and identify key areas of need. The committee has built a master plan around six major focus areas to guide the organisation over the next decade.
Building local economic capacity and creating pathways for growth and prosperity.
Improving access to healthcare and rehabilitating vital health infrastructure across Igbotako.
Investing in the minds that will carry Igbotako's legacy forward for generations.
Preserving and celebrating the rich heritage and identity of the Igbotako people.
Building the roads, utilities and facilities that sustain daily life in Igbotako.
Empowering local entrepreneurs and catalysing economic independence in the community.
Membership is open to distinguished sons and daughters of Igbotako residing abroad. Members are required to pay an annual due of ₦50,000 or the equivalent in the currency of their country of residence.
